6 Things you must do to improve on yourself. ; I cannot remember how many times I’ve read and heard of marriages failing almost all the time. Not that I care (and myself I don’t), it seems strange that we often see celebrities and TV stars as perfect people, living the fairy tale life of wealth and beauty. I suppose we all have to stop sticking our heads in the clouds and face reality.
There are multiple ways to lose your self-esteem regardless of how trivial it could get. However, we all should try not to lose our sense of self.
So what does it take to better yourself above the rest? Here are some of the things you can think, do and develop on and it should be adequate for a week.
1. Find your purpose.
Are you walking through life with limited direction – believing that you’ll find satisfaction, health, and accomplishment? Know your life purpose, and you will have your different compass that will guide you to your truth each time.
This may seem tough at first if you see yourself to be on a blind or even dead-end. However there’s always a way to turn things around, and that can make a big difference to oneself.
2. Identify your values.
Ask yourself the things you value most and Make a list of the top 5 values you have. Values such as learning, family, spiritual development. As you set your goals for the year – check your goals against your values. If the goal doesn’t match with any of your top five values – you may want to rethink or change it.
3. list the needs you have.
Needs that you have not been achieved can keep you from living a positive life. Do Take care of yourself. Do you need for example to be acknowledged, to be in control, to be loved, etc. ? Many people are living their lives without realizing their dreams, and most of them will end up being depressed for that matter. List your top four needs and make sure you get them met.The earlier, the better.
4. Identify your passions and Name them.
You already know the kind of person you are, what you like in your life and the things you truly enjoy. Hindrances like doubt and lack of interest will only obstruct you, but will not wreck your chance of becoming the person you ought to be. Express yourself and acknowledge the people who are motivating you to be the very man you want to be.
5. What are your strengths?
What are your positive qualities and What unique talents do you have? List three – if you cannot get it easily, ask those closest to you to help you identify it. Are you creative, intelligent, good with your hands? Find ways to express your real self through your strengths. You can enhance your self-confidence when you can give what you know to others.
6. Learn to Serve others.
When you live truly, you may find that you have a good sense of being. When you are genuine in who you are, living your purpose and giving of your talents to the people around, you give back in service your spirit and your essence. The gains for sharing your gift with those near to you is indeed worthwhile, much more if it were a visitor who can thank you for what you have done to them.
Self-improvement is one type of task that is worth it. It should not continuously be within the confines of an office building, or maybe in the four corners of your room. The difference lies within ourselves and our commitment to change for the better.
