1.Using designated Walkways.
Designated walkways are paths meant for pedestrians to use within an area. Even while they are making their way across floors, either at a company, warehouse, or on the road, they should use the designated walkways. It will help them stay safe and prevent moving vehicles from colliding with them.
2.Always stop and look and listen for incoming traffic
Ensure that you stop and observe whether there is an oncoming vehicle on your way before you make a cross on the road. Be aware of your surroundings and always listen for alerts or warnings while on the road.
3.Make eye contact.
Always maintain an eye contact with the drivers. You do this to make yourself known to the drivers, and with eye contact, they will see you and know that you are in the environment.
4.Always allow moving equipment to stop.
Be watchful and watch the moving equipment around you, for example, the forklift in the warehouse or the road. Always wait for the equipment to stop before you continue moving.
